Who we are
Plant-for-the-Planet US is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to empower children and youth, and to mobilize for and enable the planting of one trillion new trees worldwide.
We are a US entity, separate from the Plant-for-the-Planet Foundation in Germany, and work alongside the global Plant-for-the-Planet movement. Donations are tax-deductible within the guidelines of US law.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, we make our annual IRS Form 990 returns available for public inspection. Each return below opens the official copy hosted by the IRS. We report on a July–June fiscal year.
You can verify our tax-exempt status and view all filings, including earlier Form 990-N (e-Postcard) notices, through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search using our EIN, 38-3940108.
